Well - I am going to give this a try. We have been using babysites - but - I thought this might be fun. Sadie isn't really a baby anymore. We have so many dear friends that are far away from us - (that is what you get for moving so much) hopefully this will be a good way to keep you all updated.
Sadie is walking everywhere. Her favorite thing is to play outside. She loves sticks, rocks, leaves and dirt. She sure doesn't mind getting dirty.
Matt is loving his job. They are still hoping to open the coffee house at the end of October. He has a lot of meetings to attend. October will be a busy month of preparation. They have started the demolition of their building and the construction phase will start soon.

I am loving being here in Wichita. I am finding my way around pretty well now. It took me a while to remember - and the Riverside area was new to me. Sadie and I are a part of a Mommy and preschoolers group that we love. Sadie loves to play with friends.

This last Saturday was free museum day here in Wichita. We went to the Wichita art museum and then to Exploration place. Exploration place has an entire area for kids under 3. She had a blast. She was most excited to discover the water table. I think she could have played in it all day. She was completely soaked. She poured and splashed like crazy.
Last week we went to Botanica with Uncle Jonny and Aunt Betsey. As it turns out - Sadie loves fish. We spent about 30 minutes feeding and watching the fish. I think Sadie would have jumped right in with them if we would have let her.
She is trying to mimic all kinds of words. She likes to say "bump-bump" when we are in the car and quack-quack when we see birds, geese or ducks. She even said "cool" the other day after I said it.
Enjoy the pictures.
